Introducing New Renaissance

Welcome to the New Renaissance, a path of personal growth, self-mastery, and collective prosperity. We embark on a journey of discovery and transformation, a journey that celebrates individuality while fostering a unified community of like-minded individuals. New Renaissance is not just a religion; it is a philosophy that embraces all belief systems, seeking common ground in the pursuit of human betterment and the preservation of our planet.

Central to New Renaissance is the understanding that "the way is in bringing the self to the highest potential." Each individual's journey is unique, and the accumulation of knowledge is a sacred endeavor, as it shapes not only our present but also the future of humanity. The wisdom gained is meant to be shared, tested, and refined, not only to improve ourselves but to uplift others around us.

Five fundamental principles lie at the heart of New Renaissance. First is the value of community, where society works for the benefit of all, striving to extend human life and well-being. Second, freedom is cherished, and exploitation is abolished, fostering a system that promotes individual empowerment and collective prosperity.

The third principle is the pursuit of utopia, where the environment is protected, and technology is used responsibly to allow nature's recovery. Next, self-reliance is encouraged, emphasizing the importance of not becoming overly dependent on machines or relinquishing responsibility to them.

Lastly, New Renaissance calls for a shared purpose—protecting humanity from existential threats and preparing for life beyond our planet, in space.

To walk the path of New Renaissance, seven core practices are embraced. The first is to study diligently, gaining a basic understanding of various subjects, and mastering the simple and essential aspects of life. Next, train the mind and body, engaging in martial arts, sports, and games to become better individuals each day.

The third practice is to rewild the self, lifestyle, and habitat, connecting with nature, learning survival skills, and thriving in any environment. Building family connections, whether through blood relations or shared values, forms the fourth practice, fostering a sense of community and contribution.

Discipline of the mind, body, and actions is essential, setting routines and principals, measuring success only against our past selves. Charity in various forms, including gifting, serving, and favoring, contributes to the collective good, promoting a world where everyone's basic needs are met, and peace prevails.

Finally, temperance guides us to practice moderation in all aspects of life, avoiding excesses that lead to greed and pleasure.

New Renaissance is a religion that encompasses all others, serving as a unifying framework for people of different beliefs to seek common goals and values. The Preamble, Five Principals, and Seven Practices form the core tenets of New Renaissance, but the religion recognizes the diversity of personal belief and encourages individual spiritual growth.

In this journey, the concept of "kata" comes into play, treating knowledge as a pattern of movements to be memorized and practiced, just like martial arts. Embodying the dualistic tension between action and learning, the symbols of New Renaissance—the Knife and the Book—represent cutting away falsehoods to reveal truth and the aspiration to master skills and knowledge in life, respectively.

"The Way" encapsulates the fundamental principle of New Renaissance, emphasizing that training is the gateway to achieving the highest moral and spiritual potential. It aligns with living in harmony with oneself and the world, embracing a natural state of being.

As you embark on this personal journey, may New Renaissance guide you to discover the fullest potential within yourself and lead you to play your part in shaping a prosperous and harmonious future for humanity.
